Planner Journals

Hello! I was hoping that some of you could help me out. I am looking for inspiration for journal keeping in a daily planner. Have any of you all kept a journal in a planner before? Do you have any advice to share of the experience of pictures to show me of how some of the more awesome pages came out? Or do you know of any groups that share pictures of planned style journals and diaries? Thanks so much to anyone who can help me out.

Hi hi,
That is what my mother did for years, and I still have them! They are quite fun for me to read. I will try to post some photos of them! I usually get them out and read them at this time of year. She passed away in 2002 and it is a sweet way to remember her <3

Oh I'm so happy that you have a nice way like this to remember your mother. As long as you don't mind sharing some of her pages, I would love so much to see how she kept her planners. Thank you!

I just went and looked for them to scan or take a few photos and they are not where I thought they are. They must have migrated up to the attic and I don't venture up there without hubby's help.
Basically she filled up the whole space with the highlights of what was going on, some weather and appointments but other huge stuff too...
Hope that helps <3
Happy New Year!

I second that, organizers is a GREAT comm for that! Then check the moleskine tag...SO AMAZING. In 2009 that's what I did, I journaled in my planner mostly. It was like a huge doodle to do list hah I loved it!

my mother also did entries in a daily planner. They were strictly practical with only an occasional note of how she was feeling.
Following her lead I also do a daily planner practical journal. It has the weather, purchases, gardening information, meetings etc. in it. I keep a paper journal for my other thoughts.

For a different perspective try The Sacred Journey - very interesting daily format with other aspects. Available on amazon.

I like the idea of noting weather and purchases in it! Thanks so much.

You can't believe handy that note of purchases is!
I can never remember if something is still under warrantee.
I also note when I got my haircut - dentist appointments - car serviced etc.

I am starting a new journal today (instead of the first), but my dear friend who is not a member of LJ is starting a new planner tomorrow. She wanted some inspiration so I set out to gather some up for her to help on her knew endeavors. Thank you for your help!
