journaling article.

I found this article on journaling that I thought the group might find interesting:

Enjoy! :)

Thanks for sharing, I wish more articles like these were easy to find. You know how easy it is to exhaust "diary, day planner, filofax, moleskine, scrapbook"?? Man! I was running out!

Thank you!

Honestly, the word "woman" in that title annoyed me enough to not want to read the article. (Plus it's too long for me to be bothered.) I looked at the tags and the ideas, and there was nothing in there that suggested gender... so why is it that women should write these things but not men? For one, journalling would/could be useful for everyone; secondly, there is a history of certain things assigned to women ("women's work") and the devaluation of said things. And there certainly is this idea that only 13-year-old teenage girls keep a diary, an idea which I think suggesting journaling is women's work supports. Meh.

That said, some of the ideas weren't too bad.

Yeah, I thought the title was annoying, too, but thought that the content was good. Unfortunate that gender even was brought into it.

I just wrote down some items from that list in my journal, for future journaling ideas.
