Hello there, fellow journalers. Hope everyone is doing well!!! I was wondering about this brand called Piccadily for some short time. They're like Moleskines, but far cheaper and I was curious to see comments and opinions about them from journalers who use them. I was wanting to get some, but wanted to hear some of the fellow journalers' thoughts about them. Are they good notebooks to journal. Please do feel free to share and if you have notebook brand recommendations, I'be happy to hear about them as well in addition to the piccadily notebook. Well, thank you for your time, and keep journaling!!

I used one as my main journal a few years ago. In my opinion they are perfectly suitable, even better perhaps because there isn't the pressure of ruining a journal you just paid $18 for. I say go for it!

Thanks for answering my question and sharing your opinion as well. I think I will get piccadilies from now on. I have a Orange Primo Piccadily, but I haven't used it yet. I am going to use it after the journal I am writing in now. And i do like how they are inexpensive!

I used a hardcover one as a journal once, and it began falling apart when I was about halfway through it. The spine completely broke, and the black cover was starting to tear off at the spine revealing the cardboard underneath. The pocket also came undone, if I recall correctly. It was awful. :(

I switched back to Moleskine after that (though now I use Quo Vadis since their paper is fountain pen friendly) because I never had any problems with them falling apart.

I heard about Piccadily notebooks falling apart as well. I have a Orange Piccadily Primo journal, but never used it. I like Moleskines, but they are damn expensive and the paper is not even good, in my opinion. I heard Quo Vadis is nice. How much do they go for. Are they expensive?

(I tried replying before, but apparently it was marked as spam because I posted a link? Apologies if this is a double post.)

Unfortunately, the Quo Vadis journals are pricy.. more expensive than Moleskines, but the paper quality is much better. I bought mine at gouletpens dot com for $24. The smaller ones are $16.

It's okay, haha. I have been having some technical problems as well when I go on this community journal. Quo Vadis journals sound cool, but pricey. However, I will still check them out and see what they are all about. Thanks for replying back to me!
