Show us your Journal Stack? :)

I love looking at people's collections, especially Moleskine towers.

I'm not sure what it is about them: the memories all there in one place, blank pages and a potential future, notebooks all nice and orderly, or what.

Could you share your journal stack, or collection? :)

Here's my used journal collection, my stack o' notebooks so far.

I love your pics. I wish I could post my pics. My journals are in hiding in preparation for a move. Some day I'll get them out.

I wanna share my stack!

Your stacks are fun because they are so colorful!!

Thanks. I did have more colors than I remembered. :)

My box o' journals:

And all of them stacked up against the wall:
It looks like a much bigger collection in the box! It doesn't look it in the second picture, but there are 50 notebooks there.

Nice collection. Are those black ones Moleskines? I like how those all line up so nice and matching. 50 is a lot. How many years of journaling is that?

The same thing happened to me with it not seeming like it was as many stacked up-- mine looked bigger in the box and shorter stacked up. Interesting that you have half spiral half hardbound too. I bet that's one heavy box. I've been thinking about storing mine differently, and like the plastic box storage so they're all together.

I left a comment a couple of days ago, but it doesn't seem to be showing up - I think LJ doesn't like the links. So here's my earlier comment, with the links removed:

Thank you! The black ones are actually a mix of Oberon Design journal refills (link removed) and Cachet sketchbooks (link removed). I think they look impressive all lined up (I have a picture of a bunch of the black ones lined up together, but even when I tried posting my comment with no other links except the link to that one picture, it still wouldn't show up!), but I kind of miss the colorfulness of the random notebooks I used to use.

I've been journaling for almost fourteen years now, although not always consistently and not always on paper. There aren't any notebooks from 2008-2009 (although I was journaling on the computer for part of that time), and only three total for 2010-2013. There are 23 notebooks in there from 2001! What can I say, I was fourteen and angsty. Also, my handwriting was huge.

The plastic box works well for holding them (although you're right, it's heavy! I try not to move it too often), but it's going to be full soon. I'll probably need to get a second one. I could also put them in a bookcase, but I'm not sure I really like the idea of them being open to public display like that.
