Halp!

I have the blank paged Minnie Mouse Moleskine but I'm scared to write on unlined pages. Are there any tricks to keeping my handwriting straight? What do you do to keep your lines straight? Do you even care?

Edit Thank you everyone for your ideas and encouragement. You are all amazing people.

You pretty much said what I did XD And that's exactly what I have, too, a card I made myself and laminated.

You could make yourself a lineguide? I did one for myself for a moleskine I used years ago, and am using it in my current one right now. You can bang one together using a computer, or you could just get some lined paper and cut it to size. If you can't see the lines clearly enough through the moleskine paper, you could always go over them in pen to make them more visible. And to make it more study, either stick it or copy it onto card :D

keep your lines straight
I would just write and not worry about having a straight line of text. Let the words flow in their natural order.

You can get "line guides" or even make one yourself by drawing ruled lines with a sharpie or something on a piece of paper, with ink dark/intense enough that it will show through when you put it behind the moleskine page you want to work on.

my lines get pretty slanted sadly so I just use a piece of paper underneath to try to keep them straight xD

I always do! ;)

I must admit though I chickened out on starting it right away. I decided to fill one more book before I try something without lines so I am currently writing in a pink lined Moleskine. But this Minnie Mouse book can't be ignored much longer.
