What do you add to your collages?

I've gotten into collaging some this year. My journals were mostly all writing for years, but then I got addicted to cutting crap out of magazines. Then I had fun making a mess with paint. Here's a few recent collages.

What do you add to your collages? Do you add mementos from life, drawings, travel souvenirs, magazine clippings, or objects like leaves or buttons?

Your pages are gorgeous! I do a lot of collaging, too. I put everything in my books- stickers, magazine clippings, envelopes, bills, junk mail, basically anything made of paper, and sometimes even fabric. I stitched a bit of fabric into one of my journals just to say I had tried it, LOL

Thanks! :) And sewing in fabric sounds fun, I'll have to try that just to say I did too. Junk mail? Fun... your journals sound colorful.

I don't buy magazines, and when I do, I can't bring myself to cut them up. I usually use found images (old photos especially) and bits of stuff people send me when I trade ATCs. And some Japanese paper. I have not collaged in a while.
